5 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Affiliate Marketing.
When I started Affiliate Marketing. I didn’t know much in terms of what right from wrong. What strategies I should be doing etc.
I am guessing you are in the same position right now and wants to ensure you are doing the most important things.

One of the biggest struggles I faced when I started was information overload…
With so many Guru’s out there promising so many ‘magic bullets’ I was confused as to who to trust.
Needless to say,
I went on and buy many of those courses that they were offering because all I wanted to do was to make money. But there were a few things I wish I knew then that I know now, and I don’t want you to make the same mistakes as I did. (going around listening to everyone).

#1 Focus On 1 Traffic Source.
This is one of the most important things that you can ever do.If you really want to make money online, I suggest focusing on just building your following on just one traffic source.
Trying to get traffic from multiple source will produce mediocre results because you will not be able to build a steady audience on any. You will be all over the place on different platform.
My favorite saying goes: If you try to chase two rabbit at once you will end up catching none.
Focusing on one traffic source will allow you to be able to able to have more time to provide content to your audience and be more engaging on the platform ..That’s one of the biggest factors for any traffic source that you might choose.
The more engaging your content is the more ‘eyeballs’ you will get so to speak.
Is this making sense?
So, when I say focus on one traffic source what this means is that you will have to produce engaging to your audience.
Focus on growing your following on that platform. Whatever that may be
· Snapchat etc…
The options are yours to choose. Make sure that whatever you choose you master it…
#2 Know who your customers are.
When i say know who your customer is, I mean doing a customer research?
In other words (know who you want to market to)..If you don’t know who you want to be your customer, you will end up marketing to everybody which will be more of a nightmare so to speak. You don’t want that to happen.
Knowing who your customers are will allow you to attract more of the persons you want to do business with.
At that moment you will know what to say to them. You will understand what their dreams are, what they want to achieve and that way you will know what they are looking for in business.
# 3 Choosing a profitable niche.
This is something you want to do before you start promoting affiliate products online.
With affiliate marketing if you really want to make the money that will change your life and allow you to quit your 9-5 this is a step you want to take.
Choose a profitable niche.
Its kinda tricky when choosing a profitable niche for affiliate Marketing.
Here’s why ?
You want to choose a niche that is profitable enough to support your lifestyle. At the same time you don’t want to choose a niche that’s too competitive and will take you awhile to start earning affiliate commissions..
#4 Understanding paid traffic before doing it.
You might want to pay attending to this right here.
Paid ads can make or break your business…
If you don’t understand paid ads you want to stay away from them because you might just end up spending thousands of dollars on ads just to find out that you are not making any profit from paid traffic.
Then at this point you will now think that paid traffic doesn’t work. So the next time you hear someone say something bad about paid traffic you might want to find out if they actually did paid traffic themselves.
If they did, the next thing you want to find out is, did they understand paid traffic before doing it.
#5 Promoting Products that you have used yourself.
Here is why…
Would you want someone to recommend you to a product that they know nothing about. Imagine someone telling you all these things about a product just for you to find out that they have no experience with it.
How would you feel? Well the answer is obvious.
Another example is.
When you go to Amazon to buy a product don’t you read the reviews before you buy it?
Because you want to know what others that have used it has to say.
So, it’s obvious that we always want to take recommendations from others that have used a product or service and have experience with it.
So, it’s the same for your customers that you are going to be promoting your products to. They want to know what the experience is like with that specific product.
And if you promote a product that you have used and have experience with there is no doubt that people with buy through your affiliate link. So be transparent share your experience of the product and watch your sales go you.
